1)Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Hadiths on Health – There is a cure for every ailment,

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Allaah has sent a cure for every ailment. When it is given to the ailing person, he is cured by the command of Allaah.”                                                 [Ref-Muslim 5741, from Hadhrat Jaabir rz]

2) A long life is both good and ill fortune,

Someone once asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), “Who is the best person?” “The person whose life is longest and whose deeds are best,” Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) replied. When the person then asked who the worst of people are, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) replied, “The person whose life is longest and whose deeds are the worst.”

3) When someone is depressed,

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “When you are depressed or in difficulty, then recite, 

 Hasbi Allah Wa Ni’mal Wakeel 

TRANSLATION: Allaah is Sufficient for me and He is the Best of Helpers.

4) Advice from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Actions are based upon their intentions.” (The fruits of the action will be according to the intention).                                                                         [Ref- Bukhaari 1, from Hadhrat Umar rz]

5) The du’aa to be safeguarded against oppressors,

The following du’aa is to be recited regularly when one is being harassed and put through difficulty by one’s enemies,

Du’aa – Rabbi Najjinee Minal Qawmiz Zaalimeen

TRANSLATION: Oh My Rabb! Rescue me from the oppressive nation.             [Ref-Quran (Surah Qasas, verse 21)]

6) Abortion is the worst sin,

Someone once asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), “What is the worst sin in the sight of Allaah?” Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) replied, “That you should ascribe any as partner to Allaah whereas it is He Who created you.” “What sin comes next?” the question was then asked. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) replied, “That you kill your children for fear of poverty.”

Many people practice abortion nowadays in the interests of family planning or to avoid having female offspring. This is a grave sin.

7) Imitating the opposite gender,

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Allaah curses the woman who dresses like a man and the man who dresses like a woman.”                                                                            [Ref- Ibn Maajah 1903, from Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah rz]

8) Advice from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Do not be jealous of each other, do not harbour enmity for each other, do not ignore each other, but be brothers unto each other by the command of Allaah, O servants of Allaah!”

9) Giving clothing to someone,

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that when a person gives clothing to another person, he (the giver) will remain in Allaah’s protection for as long as the clothing remains on the (recipient’s) body.

10) The signs of a hypocrite,

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “There are three signs of a hypocrite; when he speaks, he lies, when he makes a promise, he breaks it and when entrusted with something he breaches the trust.”
