A person experiences pain in the sides when he has a stone in the kidney. In fact, such pain is most often an indication of some sort of illness. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has prescribed that honey mixed in warm water be used to treat this.
A cure for every illness in the Black Seed (Kulunji) Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised the use of the black seed, saying, “It is a cure for everything except death.” [ Ref- Bukhaari 5687, from Hadhrat Aa’isha (RZ) ]
Allaama Ibn Qayyim (rh) has written that use of the black seed is effective in curing flatulence, phlegm and fever. If mixed with honey and taken with hot water, it is effective in removing stones from the kidney and bladder.
When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once instructed that no vegetation of Makkah (Holy city of Saudi Arabia ) be cut, Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Abbaas (rz) requested him to exempt the Idhkhir grass ( Camel grass ) because it is used for the domestic needs of the people of Makkah ( Saudi Arabia ). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) then exempted it from the instruction.
